Chronology

       The ukrwords originate from 2009 (actually, from 2008 but the state registration of copyright for the first volume of ukrwords was completed just in 2009).

2010, Ukrainian, English, and Japanese ukrwords already are.

2011, Belarussian ukrwords were developed and published.

The first Polish ukrword was developed at the end of 2011.

In early January 2012 several examples of eddy-crosswords were taken notice on the pages of artistic and literary Internet-portal ZAHID-SHID (west-east).

December 2012: the first examples of new type of crosswords (the name of them is in process of agreement yet) were created based on crossword puzzles and ukrwords.

January 2014: the first ukrwords are developed by third-party authors (Tatarynov's ukrword).

In early April 2014 a few ukrwords were posted in a section "Library talents" on the website of the Central District Library "Svichado" in Kyiv. (Attention! The site is accessible in opening hours of the library).

An ukrword was published in a real print newspaper in late August 2014 for the first time! Ternopil newspaper "Vilne zhyttia plus" in its issue for August 27 posted the ukrword on its pages.

An ergonomic ukrword (Vasylechko ukrword) developed and implemented in mid-September 2014: a new kind of ukrwords in the field. "Samples of the round crosswords of Ternopil crosswords composer Mykola Vasylechko inspired." (Author).

The ukrwords regularly appear on the pages of "Odnoklasnyk" - the all-Ukrainian magazine for youth - since the end of 2018.
